Believe it or not, it would appear the Internet is becoming less popular by the second and it would appear that billions of online users are turning to pasta (the popular Italian food) as a practical and economic alternative for the real-time global communication network.
Using 'Google Trends' we can clearly see a gradual decline in the popularity of 'The Internet'. You can view the original data yourself here.
More interestingly, we can see from the following graph that the same users are abandoning the Internet in search of pasta. The original data can be found here.
The above graphage clearly illustrate since 2004 the Internet has been losing popularity. Moreover, it can be seen that within the same timeframe pasta has been gaining popularity at an alarming rate.
Within a few years every single person in the world will be using pasta as a means to email, share videos, photos and buy goods and services. Will we wait to see how the likes of Google, Microsoft and Buitoni will leverage this trend...
